Why would you need to check is a channel is monetized? You’d check if a channel is monetized:
- To see whether a YouTube niche can make money
- Whether a channel is suitable for sponsorship
- Whether similar creators are earning from ads
- Whether there may be a conflict of interest. Monetization can create incentives for clicks, controversy, or advertiser-friendly content (though it doesn’t necessarily prove dishonesty).
