I’m a big fan of Fame, I used to watch it as a kid, I love the songs, the performance, the 80’s experience. So when I heard that the new movie was out, I went out to see it.
If it wasn’t for the fact that the movie is based on a series and a movie legend from the 80’s I would rate it as a so so movie. But, because I went to see the movie for nostalgic reasons, I was really disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of the past.
To sum it up, I think I could have gotten better entertainment from watching new episodes of Glee.
If you don’t own the DVD’s of the 80’s series… Don’t wait go ahead and BUY it. It is that good.
